Calypso Production Support Engineer
Project description
This role involves providing production support for capital markets applications with a focus on Calypso application from front end. The position requires strong techno-functional expertise in application support, incident management, and system monitoring to ensure high availability, stability, and performance of the platform. You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to support business operations and enable system enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 production support, including monitoring and incident resolution
- Participate in Weekly application maintenance activities, support monthly releases
- Analyze issues raised by business users, configure the application to meet functional needs
- Manage and resolve incidents in collaboration with Product Owners and BAs
- Perform batch monitoring and ensure timely execution of scheduled jobs
- Configure application workflows, business logic, and process flows
- Ensure system security, availability, and performance standards are maintained
- Handle user queries and provide timely support to business stakeholders
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
SKILLS
Must have
- 6 to 11 years Strong experience in Calypso production support
- Strong domain knowledge in capital markets, E2E understanding of trade life cycle, Settlements, Confirmations
- Basic knowledge on Trade booking model, Market data setup and Integration of trade interfaces like Markitwire, Bloomberg
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, Shifts in Australia / London / India time zones
- Hands-on experience in L1/L2 support and incident management in Calypso System
- Experience in batch monitoring and job scheduling
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, monitoring tools, and build tools
- Strong stakeholder communication and customer handling skills
