C++ Engineer Windows
FinDev is looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join a team building and expanding a real-time electronic trading platform for the Fixed Income market. You’ll work on backend development in C++, building and enhancing server-side components that power real-time trading applications.
The team focuses primarily on Fixed Income Financing, developing technology used by some of the largest Investment Banks, Asset Managers, and Hedge Funds.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services in C++ for real-time trading applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Work closely with business teams to translate client needs into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with QA and Support teams to investigate and resolve development and production issues.
- Take ownership of technical problems and drive them through resolution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional C++ development experience
- Strong knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming
- Hands-on experience with multithreading and concurrent programming.
- Strong understanding of data structures, design patterns, and templates
- Experience developing backend/server-side applications
- Good knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant technical field
- Advanced English (B2+/C1) with strong communication skills.
Additional Requirements
- Experience in financial systems, electronic trading, or Fixed Income
- Professional C++ development experience on Windows, particularly with Visual Studio
- Understanding of networking and communication protocol fundamentals
- Experience with Perl or shell scripting.
