Define benefit hypotheses for the digital transformation of laboratory workflows
Develop KPIs and baselines covering experiment lead time, laboratory throughput, resource capacity, manual handling, data-processing time, data quality, traceability, data reuse, and probability of success.
Define benefit-measurement methods, data sources, and benefit owners
Develop the quantified In Vitro benefits case and prepare investment decision materials
Build implementation roadmaps, define milestones, manage dependencies, and provide sequencing recommendations
Support RAID management, decision governance, and programme reporting
Prepare Gate and steering committee materials
Simplify complex scientific and technical information into clear, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders
Requirements
5+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, or programme delivery in life sciences, biopharma, or a related environment
A relevant degree in life sciences, chemistry, biology, or a related scientific discipline — with sufficient understanding of pharmaceutical or biotech R&D operating models to assess the credibility of laboratory workflow benefit claims
Experience in benefits modelling for digital transformation programmes — including quantified business cases, KPI definition, baseline setting, and benefit-measurement approaches
Ability to connect benefits to productivity, capacity, lead time, quality, and probability of success in a laboratory or R&D context
Experience in business-case development and investment decision support
Experience developing implementation roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and sequencing recommendations
Experience supporting RAID management, decision governance, programme reporting, and Gate and steering committee preparation
Strong analytical, written, and presentation skills — able to simplify complex scientific and technical arguments for senior non-scientific audiences
