Description
We are looking for a Business & Supply Chain Analyst who will help transform operational data into actionable business intelligence across global distribution and procurement operations. The role focuses on building reliable data foundations, automating reporting and analytics, and creating transparency across logistics, inventory, costs, and operational performance.

Key responsibilities
Build Operational Data Foundation
- Build and automate a unified operational dataset by integrating data from Navision, AS400, WMS/voice-pick, and NetSuite.
- Create documented, reproducible data processes independent of individual knowledge.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and structures to support analytics and automation.
- Define operational data and reporting requirements for ERP transformation.
- Ensure analytics needs are built into new systems from the start.
- Establish agreed baselines for operational costs and FTEs with Finance and HR.
- Track improvement initiatives and ensure savings are measured consistently.
Deliver Operational Intelligence
- Provide visibility into key operational metrics: fill rate, throughput, SLA performance, backlog, lead times, site productivity, cost-to-serve, inventory health.
- Implement automated anomaly detection and operational monitoring.
- Build and maintain a procurement spend cube
- Support procurement decisions through: Category baselines, Supplier performance analysis, Price and demand monitoring, Savings tracking.
Network & Operational Modelling
- Build scenario models for strategic decisions
- European distribution consolidation.
- US warehouse/hub design.
- Print-on-demand footprint optimization.
- Quantify impact based on volume, space, cost-to-serve, and headcount.
- Build data foundations for AI-assisted workflows: Forecasting, Anomaly detection, Inventory health monitoring, Automated approval processes.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Supply Chain Analyst in operations, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with ERP data (Navision/Dynamics, AS400/DB2, NetSuite, or similar legacy systems).
- Ability to work with complex and undocumented data models.
- Strong BI expertise (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Experience with Python or advanced Excel for modelling.
- Data engineering mindset: automation, documentation, reproducibility, and scalable solutions over manual reporting.
- Ability to communicate insights to senior stakeholders and challenge assumptions with data.
- Fluent English.
Nice to have
- Procurement analytics experience (spend cubes, should-cost models, supplier analytics).
- Experience with network, footprint, or cost-to-serve modelling.
- Applied AI/ML experience (forecasting, anomaly detection, AI-ready data foundations).
- Experience supporting ERP migrations or system consolidation projects.
- Knowledge of Dutch or German.
