Budgeting Tool Implementation Lead

About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the implementation of a budgeting tool as part of a defined project. The primary goal of the role is to manage and execute the transition from Excel-based budgeting templates to a dedicated budgeting application or system, ensuring a smooth adoption across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of a budgeting tool, from requirements definition to go-live
• Manage and execute the transition from Excel-based budgeting templates to a budgeting software solution
• Design and implement scalable budgeting process aligned with business needs
• Work closely with Finance, HR, and key business stakeholders to gather requirements and align on solutions
• Configure budgeting models, assumptions, workflows, and reporting within the selected tool
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency throughout the budgeting process
• Support change management, including user training and documentation
• Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and technical or system vendors (if applicable)

Qualifications

• Experience working within an international, multi-entity group environment
  Proven, hands-on experience leading a transition from Excel-based budgeting templates to a budgeting system or application
• Direct experience implementing budgeting or planning tools
• Experience applying or supporting AI-driven analytics solutions within budgeting, forecasting, or financial planning processes
• Strong understanding of budgeting processes
• Ability to independently manage a project with clearly defined timelines and deliverables
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in Finance and HR
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with system implementation projects or process transformation initiatives
