ATM Engineer
We're looking for an experienced ATM Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining ATM devices and software - from acceptance testing of new ATMs and organizing installation and relocation, to ensuring stable operations through regular updates, technical support, and coordination with service partners.
This role requires a strong connection with the team and stakeholders, so fully remote work without travel is likely to be much less effective - so the ideal option would be relocation to Manila.
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing and acceptance of new ATMs before deployment
- Organize and oversee installation, configuration, and relocation of ATMs
- Install and configure ATM software, including system and management components
- Monitor and ensure timely updates of ATM management software
- Perform technical maintenance and troubleshooting of ATMs
- Organize and coordinate ATM repairs with service partners
- Ensure compliance with SLA requirements in interaction with vendors and partners
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in ATM engineering, support, or related roles in banking/fintech
- Knowledge of ATM hardware, software platforms, and management tools
- Experience with ATM software installation and configuration
- Familiarity with operating systems and network configuration for ATM devices
- Ability to coordinate vendors and service partners, ensuring SLA compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical mindset
- Good communication and organizational skills
Will be a plus
- Experience with XFS or low-level ATM device programming
- Knowledge of EMV standards, cryptography, and key management for ATMs
- Familiarity with ATM acquiring flows, ISO8583, and transaction processing basics
- Hands-on experience with ATM monitoring systems and incident response
- Certifications from ATM vendors (e.g., NCR, Diebold Nixdorf, GRG)
