As an AML Intern at Tabby, you’ll support the Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team in monitoring and managing financial crime risks across Tabby’s products and operations.
Support the AML team with customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and ongoing monitoring activities.
Assist with reviewing transaction monitoring alerts and identifying potentially suspicious activity for further investigation.
Support sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening and escalation processes.
Assist with AML investigations by gathering relevant customer, transaction, and account information.
Maintain accurate AML records, case documentation, and supporting evidence.
Support the preparation of AML reports, dashboards, and management information.
Conduct research on AML, financial crime, sanctions, and regulatory requirements to support the team.
Assist with identifying and escalating potential AML and financial crime risks in line with internal policies and procedures.
Support periodic reviews and updates of AML procedures, controls, and documentation.
Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve AML-related queries and ensure timely completion of required controls.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Comfortable working with data and conducting structured research.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Genuine interest in AML, financial crime, compliance, fintech, or risk management.
Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
