G5 Games is a Swedish developer and publisher of mobile games in the Hidden Object, Match-3, and Mahjong genres. Over 25 years, we have built a portfolio of more than 30 free-to-play titles with an audience of 300 million players worldwide. Our team is 600+ professionals across different countries.
Looking for an Ad Monetization Manager who will grow ad revenue across our core portfolio and build hybrid monetization combining ads and in-app purchases for new hybridcasual games. If you want to work on a product with history — we look forward to your application.
What You Will Work On:
- Drive ad revenue performance across assigned games, tracking ad ARPDAU, eCPM by country and format, impressions per DAU, and fill rate.
- Configure and optimize bidding and waterfalls, connect and evaluate ad networks, investigate revenue drops.
- Shape ad placements, frequency, and formats with product teams, including rewarded video within core gameplay loops.
- Design A/B tests and present the reasoning behind them, assessing their impact on retention and in-app purchases alongside ad revenue.
- Connect ad LTV with user acquisition in hybridcasual games, where ads are the primary source of acquisition payback: model payback, pass user value signals to networks, segment players by predicted value.
- Negotiate terms with ad network partners and secure early access to beta features or new ad formats.
- Share regular performance reports with product teams, UA, and management, turning findings into clear recommendations.
What We Expect:
- 3+ years of experience in ad monetization for mobile games or apps, including direct work in mediation platforms.
- Experience within a game product team, working closely with product specialists, analysts, and engineers on a live title.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major mediation platform — AppLovin MAX, LevelPlay/ironSource, or Google AdMob / Ad Manager — plus a practical understanding of bidding and waterfalls.
- Experience with hybrid monetization and an understanding of how advertising can affect in-app purchases.
- Ability to analyze data independently using BI tools and analytical dashboards.
- Ability to read ad network SDK and API documentation and translate it into clear requirements for engineers.
- Ability to plan work independently and support decisions with data.
- English at Upper-Intermediate level or above.
Would Be a Plus:
- Experience working at an ad network or mediation platform, such as Unity Ads, AppLovin, ironSource, or Google.
- Experience with hybridcasual, hypercasual, or casual games driven by in-app purchases.
- Understanding of how ad revenue informs UA payback models, including ROAS, SKAN, and AEM.
What We Offer:
- An employment contract or a contractor agreement, depending on your location.
- Fully remote work with company-provided equipment.
- Paid vacation and 3 additional sick days per year — no doctor's note required.
- Medical insurance and gym membership reimbursement.
- A close-knit team of professionals with deep expertise in mobile game development.
- Relocation support: financial assistance and guidance at every step — from choosing a country to obtaining legal status.
We look forward to your resume!
