3D Props Artist

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Environment Props Artist to join the AMC Studio team for a high-profile, atmospheric narrative project. This role focuses on the creation of high-fidelity, believable props that define the unique aesthetic of a mid-century world where luxury meets industrial decay.
You will have ownership over the asset pipeline from initial high-poly models to final in-engine integration, ensuring every piece fits seamlessly into our dense, moody environments.

Responsibilities: 

• High-Fidelity Modeling: Create highly detailed, believable 3D models of environment assets ranging from ornate furniture to complex, weathered machinery.
• Artistic Alignment: Ensure all assets fit the established look and feel of the project, focusing on strong silhouettes and period-correct industrial design.
• Technical Integration: Import and set up assets within Unreal Engine, including assigning materials, checking scale against surrounding geometry, and ensuring correct orientation.
• Optimization & Polish: Manage technical requirements for all assets, including the creation of efficient LODs and functional collision geometry.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Art Leads to meet quality benchmarks and deadlines in a timely manner, contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Feedback Loop: Actively participate in critiques, applying feedback to iterate on assets and maintain visual consistency across the project.

• Professional Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a 3D Props Artist in the games industry, having contributed to at least one published AAA title.
• Environmental Storytelling: A portfolio that demonstrates an ability to create "lived-in" props with believable wear, grime, and material history.
• Unreal Engine Pipeline: Solid experience with the UE workflow, specifically regarding asset importing, material assignment, and mesh validation.
• Technical Foundations: Excellent understanding of form, shape, and structure, alongside a disciplined approach to polygon counts and texture budgets.
• Asset Optimization: Proficiency in creating clean UV layouts and efficient LOD chains.
• Communication: Self-motivated with strong English communication and writing skills, and a proactive, team-player attitude.
